The Dulles Fuel Tank Settling Tank Farm project is located at the Washington/Dulles International Airport. The owner of this project is the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority of Washington. C.A. Murren and sons will serve as the prime contractor for the construction of containment walls, fire and domestic waterline.

C.A. Murren and Sons will install Over 11,000 LF of 4” to 24” ductile iron pipe, fire protection lines, foam water lines and potable water lines. Crews will move 45,000 CY of dirt to grade the site. Approximately 14,000 CY of dirt and rock will be excavated below grade for footings installation. Three 170 FT diameter ring wall tank foundations are to be placed along with 3000 LF of concrete dike walls to form the containment cells for the new jet fuel tanks.
